The quilt show under the grandstand is an exhibition of beautiful quilts that show the talents of the textile artists of today and of years gone by.
The TRADE SHOW provides an opportunity to view and purchase items ranging from draft horse harnesses to art and books. It is always a mix of interesting items.
Starting on Wednesday, September 14, the Academy of Living History will present a variety of hands on workshops. Classes include cast iron cooking, denim quilts, rag rugs, leather toolijng, horsehair hitching, horsemanship, restoring antique tractors, candle making, butter churing and wagon painting.
Friday evening of Expo week is the HOT DOGS and HISTORY camp fire at Grant Kohrs Ranch. This free family program provides both young an old to enjoy cooking a hot dog on an open fire while learning some draft era history.
